Deadly Doctors

Background – General Practitioners (GPs) working in the ACCHS sector are truly Deadly Doctors! They do deadly work, are champions in the ACCHS sector and play an integral role in improving Aboriginal health as one part of the holistic teams in our Member Services. The AH&MRC would like to acknowledge the key contribution deadly doctors play in putting Aboriginal health in Aboriginal hands. AH&MRC consults regularly with GPs in our sector through our GP Advisory Group (GPAG), a strategic advisory committee that connects regularly by teleconference and annually for face to face meetings.

The AH&MRC Deadly Doctors Program delivers a range of activities including:

  • Bimonthly teleconference calls
  • Annual Deadly Doctors Forum
  • Deadly Doctors Newsletters
  • Consultation to ensure the sector benefits from our Deadly Doctors’ expert input and advice
