Christine Corby AM

Mrs Corby is a Gamilaraay woman from north-western New South Wales (NSW). Born in Sydney, and returned to her mother’s country where she has lived for the past 48 years. Mrs Corby was the Legal Secretary for the NSW Aboriginal Legal Service (Walgett office) for 11 years. When funding was announced in 1986 for the establishment of a local Aboriginal Medical Service in Walgett, she commenced as Chief Executive Officer (CEO), a position held for 37 years.

Bob Davis

Interim Deputy Chair

Bob is a Birrpai/Dungutti man from the NSW Mid North Coast and a Director of Petraichor Partners. He has extensive Aboriginal community control health experience over 40 plus years including CEO Biripi AMS Taree, CEO Maari Ma Health and CEO Cape York Health Counci. He was the former Director Aboriginal Health Mid North Coast Area Health Service Port Macquarie, Director Partnership for Aboriginal Care Coordinated Care Trial, and Director of Land Rights, Policy and Research with the NSW Aboriginal Land Council.

He is an Adjunct Professor of Practice, within the School of Medicine and Public Heath, University of Newcastle, and a member of the Leadership Group of the Equity in Health and Wellbeing Program at the Hunter Medical Research Institute. He is a Fellow of the Australasian College of Health Service Managers (FACHSM), and a Member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors (MAICD).

Bob is a published author and co-wrote, Healing the Spirit, A Birrpai Perspective on the Port Macquarie Penal Colony and its Aftermath.

Kristine Falzone

Gummeah, WandiWandian, Wodi Wodi, Walbunja woman living with my family on my Grandmother’s Country South Coast NSW, connection to Jerrinja, Wreck Bay and Wallaga Lake communities.

Executive Manager (Operations) at Waminda, South Coast Women’s Health & Wellbeing Aboriginal Corporation based in Nowra/ Shoalhaven, where I have worked across various health & wellbeing roles over the past 15 years.

I am passionate about advocating for my community for Culturally informed, holistic strength-based Health & Wellbeing care and Equality, specifically in regard to self-determined futures and eliminating the existing generational health disparity gaps for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities.

Lindsay Hardy

Lindsay is a proud Bidjara Gungarri Mhurdi from South West Qld. He has worked in Aboriginal Health Research, community development, federal and state government for many years. Lindsay is the Deputy Chair of Yerin Eleanor Duncan Aboriginal Health Services and currently works for the PVC Office of Indigenous Strategy and Leadership as the Indigenous Employment Partner/Manager Student Advancement Wollotuka Centre of Indigenous Engagement and Advancement with the University of Newcastle.
