Welcome to the Public Health Team at the Aboriginal Health and Medical Research Council (AH&MRC). We are dedicated to improving the health and well-being of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities across New South Wales (NSW) through a focus on public health and supporting evidence-based best practice and comprehensive primary health care in Aboriginal Community Controlled Health Services.
Our team comprises of comprises two Public Health Medical Officers, and a Public Health Officer and work with other teams at AH&MRC to provide support the following support in the following areas:
