Recovery

Supporting Recovery Across NSW Communities

The NSW Reconstruction Authority (RA) works to reduce the impact of disasters and help communities recover faster. ACCHOs and local organisations play a key role in supporting recovery by:

  • Connecting with key agencies, including government, non-government, corporate, philanthropic and community groups.
  • Implementing support measures for staff, patients and community members to address physical, emotional and mental wellbeing.
  • Promoting local recovery activities, community-led initiatives and relief programs.
  • Coordinating essential supplies and material aid to meet immediate needs.
  • Identifying grants and financial assistance to support rebuilding and long-term recovery.
