Phoenix Ear Health Training

The AH&MRC is holding online training for health practitioners who work with Aboriginal clients with hearing loss and/or auditory processing problems. The training will cover:

  • The latest research on ear disease
  • Lived experience of hearing loss and auditory processing problems
  • Identifying when a patient has hearing loss and/or auditory processing problems
  • Common psychosocial outcomes of ear disease and the implications on the healthcare system
  • Useful communication strategies for healthcare practitioners treating patients with hearing loss and/or auditory processing problems
