Ungooroo GP & Health Services is an Aboriginal Community Controlled Health Organisation (ACCHO) general practice that is committed to promoting wellness and chronic disease prevention. We are nationally accredited through AG PAL and endorsed through AH&MRC and NACCHO.

We currently have Registered Nurses and an Aboriginal Health Practitioner and have been endorsed as an ACCHOsince 2016 and fully accredited according to fifth standards Nov 2019 through AG PAL. We have just relocated into the Singleton Centre and now offer 8 consultation rooms for both GP’s and allied health services.

We strive to provide a holistic approach to healthcare, utilising our partnership with RDN to provide allied health services such as Physiotherapy, Psychology, Speech, Diabetes workshops, Audiology and Optometry.

We also have Mental Health workers and an Occupational Therapist specialising in Mental Health. Ungooroo is a registered NDIS provider.

In addition, we provide GP outreach services in Muswellbrook in a great location which has easy access for community. Muswellbrook is surrounded by vineyards, olive groves and champion horse studs with national parks a short drive away. This outreach clinic is open 3 days per week.

Due to increased community demand and our expanded outreach services, we are seeking a part-time Fellowed GP to work in our Singleton clinic for 3 days per week, ideally Tuesday, Wednesday & Friday but this is flexible.

We also will consider General Registration GP’s who are working toward Fellowship.

Ungooroo is an Aboriginal Community Controlled Health Organisation and we have lots of patients with complex care needs. Interest in chronic disease, Indigenous Health and Women’s Health would be preferred.

There will be a Registered Nurse onsite at the clinic to assist with consultations and procedures.
