Using condoms goes a long way towards freeing yourself and your sexual partners from the risk of catching or spreading sexually transmissible infections like Chlamydia, gonorrhoea, syphilis and HIV.
NSW Health Information about STIs
The only way to be sure that you don’t have an STI or HIV is to get tested. If you’ve changed partners recently, or had unprotected sex, talk to your local Aboriginal Medical Service, GP or sexual health service about getting tested for STIs.
