The Role 

The Strategic Partnerships Manager plays a key role in developing, enabling and managing strategic relations and systems and procedures that support the strategic relations between Justice Health and external organisations. The role coordinates the development and monitoring of strategic objectives, performance targets and outcome measures that support service planning in Aboriginal Health. The role oversees the service delivery planning, data collection, project management, policy development and engagement throughout the organisation.  

The Strategic Partnerships Manager works strongly with Aboriginal Community Controlled Health Organisations (ACCHO’s), New South Wales Local Health Districts (NSWLHD’s), Corrective Services NSW (CSNSW), Youth Justice NSW (YJNSW) and other government and non-government organisations.

The Strategic Partnerships Manager provides expert direction and guidance to the Director Aboriginal Health and Executive leadership team in relation to Justice Health NSW strategic priorities for Aboriginal Health initiatives. The Strategic Partnerships Manager is responsible for leading the transformation of Justice Health NSW services to improve the lives of Aboriginal people by building strong internal and external partnerships and designing improved culturally safe services for communities across our region.
