Introducing the new AH&MRC logo

September 4th, 2018

Categories: Media Releases

Aboriginal Health and Medical Research Council of NSW (AHMRC) Board of Directors and staff are excited to announce the launch of our new logo and brand guidelines. The logo is inspired by the 30th anniversary artwork by the artist Carissa Paglino, that was commissioned and launched in 2015.

“AH&MRC has gone through an exciting transition and we wanted something that represented change and innovation but also remembering our journey. We have used our 30th anniversary artwork to create our new logo and brand guidelines.” says Scott Monaghan, Chairperson of the Board.

AH&MRC is committed to the delivery of four key priorities. These are:

  • Aboriginal Community Control and Innovation
  • Education and Workforce
  • Research and Data
  • Governance and Finance

We will continue to work collaboratively with the Aboriginal Community Controlled Health Services across NSW to ensure accessibility, sustainability and adequate resourcing of a skilled workforce providing comprehensive primary health care services for Aboriginal communities.

The AH&MRC will continue to provide support to the AH&MRC Member Services to strengthen and maintain a stronger infrastructure.

As Mr Monaghan concluded, “Let’s move forward and continue to make positive change that will deliver sustainable health outcomes for our people.”
