Working with and for Indigenous LGBTQ2IA+ Mob Free Webinar
Category: Past Events
LGBTQ2IA+ is an acronym that summarizes identities relevant to peoplewho are diverse in terms of their sex, sexuality or gender. This webinar will introduce participants to the LGBTQ2IA+ Mob Toolkit developed by the AH&MRC, in collaboration with The Department of Indigenous Studies at Macquarie University. The webinar will cover terminology (including the letters in the acronym above), the importance of inclusive behaviours and attitudes, and how to implement inclusive practices in the workplace, with clients and patients, and in everyday interactions. After this training, participants will feel more confident in introducing the LGBTQ2IA+ Mob Toolkit to their workplaces, and acting as allies to LGBTQ2IA+ Mob in their communities and lives.
