Phoenix Ear Health will be conducting online training for Indigenous Hearing Loss.

The trainers for this session will be Dr Damien Howard and Deaf Indigenous Community Consultant Jody Barney and they will cover the topic of ‘Hearing loss responsive communication training for health centres’.

You can learn about:

  • Lived experience of hearing loss and auditory processing problems
  • Hearing loss in Aboriginal Health Care
  • Access to the ‘The Conductive Hearing Loss Story – a one hour video designed to explain key issues of hearing loss among children to Aboriginal Families
