THE SEWB WSU (Social Emotional Well-being Workforce Support Unit) has various tasks, including training and supporting SEWB and AOD workers, facilitating, networking, collecting data to determine workforce needs and developing resources to meet these needs.

WHO SHOULD ATTEND

  • SEWB Aboriginal health workers, ACCHS, LHD, NGO
  • Alcohol and other drugs (AOD) Workers, Mental Health (MH), Bringing them home (BTH)
  • SEWB Program mangers

WORKSHOP AIMS

  • To provide a networking opportunity for SEWB, AOD and Mental Health workers
  • To strengthen existing relationships and build new partnerships
  • To discuss common challenges within the network
  • Engage with a range of regional stakeholders and provide delegates with relevant updates
  • Identify training needs of workers and provide professional development opportunities.
  • Discuss relevant and upcoming opportunities

Lunch and afternoon tea will be provided for all workshop attendees.
